Cunego, Scarponi, Marzano, Ulissi and Mattia Cattaneo (next year in blu-fucsia as trainee) started from Carpino Bergamasco their reconnaissance on the new course of Giro di Lombardia, ending their training after 178 km on the arrival in Lecco.
The blue-fucsia group, directed by the duo Maini-Tebaldi and with the mechanical support by Romanò, covered for first the Valcava climb, then Colle Brianza and Colma di Sormano.
After the demanding downhill of Sormano, the riders covered Ghisallo’s climb and then the new hill of Villa Vergano.

Cunego and Scarponi had the same idea about the new course: “It will be a very tough Giro di Lombardia. Valcava climb is demanding, even if it’s in the early part of the race; it will be very important to pay attention to the donwhill of Colma di Sormano and then to Villa Vergano, a perfect place to attack in view of the arrival”.
