It’s time for Tour of Lombardy for Lampre-ISD.
The blue-fucsia team will rely on Damiano Cunego as captain: the three times winner of the Italian classic race (in photo, the tryumph in 2008) will be supported by team mates Bertagnolli, Gavazzi, Marzano, Mori, Niemiec, Pietropolli and Ulissi.
The team will be directed by Orlando Maini, in the staff there will be doctor Guardascione, the driver Bozzolo, the mechanics Baron, Bortoluzzo and Romanò, the masseurs Bolzonaro, Borgognoni and Capelli and the press officers Appiani and Carlo Saronni.
Scarponi won’t take part in the race, because of an acute pharynx-tonsillitis that required an antibiotic cure: the Italian climber won’t have the chance to try to improve the second place obtained in Giro di Lombardia 2010.

“I’ve already covered the course of the race, I can adfirm that it’s demanding, there’s no space to rest – Cunego explained – Personally, I improved my fit in China, after the forced stop. I will rely on top team mates so I’ll approach the race with optimism”.
